While working at CERN, he invented the World Wide Web (WWW) in 1989. he also wrote the first web client and server in 1990. He co-founded and is the CTO of Inrupt.com. Inrupt is a tech startup helps develop the open-source platform Solid, a data security software.

Ivan Sutherland is a American computer scientist. He is best known as the pioneer or father of computer graphics. He helped create Sketchpad, a computer graphics program. In his life, he has gone on to win many awards including the Turing Award and Kyoto Prize in Advanced Technology. Served in the U.S. Army as a electrical engineer. In 1968, he created the first VR/AR head-mounted display. Won the 1988 A.M. Turing.
